Riyadh: Morocco Participates in Extraordinary Arab-Islamic Summit
The Extraordinary Arab-Islamic Summit, dedicated to the Israeli escalation in the Gaza Strip and Arab-Islamic action to face this situation, kicked off Saturday in Riyadh, with the participation of Morocco. His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him, is represented at this Summit by Head of Government, Aziz Akhannouch. The Moroccan delegation to this high-level meeting notably includes Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita. This Extraordinary Arab-Islamic Summit is held instead of the Emergency Arab Summit and the Extraordinary Islamic Summit, which were initially scheduled for this Saturday. The Moroccan delegation also includes Morocco’s Ambassador to Cairo and Permanent Representative to the League of Arab States, Ahmed Tazi, Moroccan Ambassador to Riyadh and the Kingdom’s permanent representative to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Mustapha Mansouri, and the Director of Mashreq, Gulf, Arab and Islamic Organizations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Fouad Akhrif,
