Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity Provides Aid to 2,155 Households in Taroudant Under ‘Extreme Cold’ Operation

Taroudant Province – As part of the “Extreme Cold” operation launched upon His Majesty King Mohammed VI’s High Instructions, the Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity provided aid to 2,155 households, coming from Ahl Tifnout and Toubkal communes in the province of Taroudant.
This involves 815 beneficiaries in 27 villages of the Ahl Tifnout, and 1,340 in 45 villages of the Toubkal commune, according to Mohamed Lechhab, an official from the Foundation. Under this humanitarian initiative, families received an aid comprising essential foodstuff and blankets, he told MAP. Beneficiaries voiced their gratitude to His Majesty the King for the Utmost Regard in which He holds the populations affected by the cold snap. The “Extreme Cold” operation, aimed at providing emergency humanitarian aid, is being carried out by the Foundation simultaneously in four other provinces and will continue in the coming days to cover additional areas among the 28 targeted provinces. This nationwide operation provides for the deployment of significant logistical and human resources, in close coordination with the Ministry of the Interior, to meet the most vulnerable’s immediate needs.
