Morocco’s FM Receives Rwandan Counterpart, Bearer of Written Message From Rwandan President to HM the King

Rabat – Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates Nasser Bourita received on Thursday in Rabat Rwanda’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Olivier Nduhungirehe, bearer of a written message from Rwandan President Paul Kagame to His Majesty King Mohammed VI.

During the meeting, the two ministers welcomed the relations of friendship and mutual esteem between the two Heads of State and praised the momentum of bilateral cooperation, particularly in the areas of security, training and sustainable development, while reiterating their commitment to further strengthening it. In this regard, the two ministers reviewed ways to consolidate this cooperation in several other priority sectors. The Rwandan top diplomat also stated that he discussed with Bourita regional and international issues of common interest, noting that the two Heads of State share the same determination to move forward in strengthening Moroccan-Rwandan relations and promoting African interests. He also praised the excellent organization and success of the 2nd Ministerial Conference on Peacekeeping in a Francophone Environment held Wednesday in Rabat.
