The Kingdom of Morocco affirms its full support for the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s desire to bid for hosting the final stages of the 2034 FIFA World Cup, according to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccan Expatriates. This support stems from the strong bonds connecting His Majesty King Mohammed VI, with His brother, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and Chairman of the Council of Ministers, the ministry stated. Under the leadership of His Majesty the King, Morocco is fully convinced of the ability of the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to host this major sporting event, given the country’s overall development progress and its recognized organizational capabilities, the statement concluded.
