Morocco’s Akhannouch Attends Global Gateway Forum in Brussels

Head of the Government Aziz Akhannouch, accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita, participated in the Global Gateway forum on Wednesday in Brussels. On the sidelines of this forum, Akhannouch had a meeting with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen. On this occasion, He reaffirmed Morocco’s commitment to strengthening the multi-faceted strategic partnership with the EU, particularly in the current global context. The two-day Global Gateway forum, organized by the European Union, brings together leaders from around the world to discuss issues related to sustainable investment, challenges faced by the public and private sectors, and best practices. The topics of discussion at this event include green energy transition and green hydrogen, education and research, critical raw materials, transport corridors, healthcare product manufacturing, and digital infrastructure, among others.
