Morocco’s Permanent Representative to AU Meets with AU Commission’s DCP in Addis Ababa

Morocco’s Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the African Union (AU) and UNECA, Mohamed Arrouchi, met with the Deputy Chairperson (DCP) of the African Union Commission, Monique Nsanzabaganwa, in Addis Ababa on Monday to discuss cooperation between the Kingdom and the pan-African institution. Discussions centered on upcoming events within the African Union and cooperation between Morocco and the pan-African organization. The strong presence of Morocco within the various bodies of the African Union was also emphasized during the meeting, which took place at AU headquarters. During the meeting, Morocco’s Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the AU and UNECA reiterated the Kingdom’s unwavering commitment to strengthening joint African action in the service of Africa’s noble causes and the vital interests of African citizens, in line with HM King Mohammed VI’s vision of South-South cooperation.
