Moroccanness of the Sahara ‘Is Not Debatable’ – Burkina Faso Official –

The Vice-President of Burkina Faso’s Transitional Legislative Assembly, Daouda Diallo, reiterated on Tuesday in Rabat his country’s support for Morocco’s territorial integrity, saying that “the Moroccanness of the Sahara is not debatable”. “Burkina Faso’s position on the Moroccan Sahara issue remains constant and unchanged,” Diallo told the press following talks with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita. Diallo also said that the Moroccan autonomy initiative, proposed by Morocco, remains “the best solution” for achieving a definitive settlement of the Moroccan Sahara conflict.
