Morocco Lauds ICJ Ruling on Immediate Provisional Measures to Be Taken by Israel to Ensure Protection of Palestinians in Gaza Strip – MFA Source –
The Kingdom of Morocco lauded the decision of the International Court of Justice (ICJ) on the immediate provisional measures that the State of Israel should take to ensure the protection of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and guarantee the sufficient and unhindered flow of humanitarian aid, according to a source at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates. The ICJ’s decision, adds the same source, is in line with what HM King Mohammed VI, Chairman of the Al-Quds Committee, may God assist Him, has repeatedly stressed about the need to take practical and urgent measures to ensure the protection of the Palestinians and put an end to the unparalleled aggression in the Gaza Strip and the resulting dangerous deterioration of the humanitarian situation. The same source also recalls the principled position of the Kingdom which supports the justness of the Palestinian Cause, rejects the targeting of civilians by any party and is committed to the legitimate right of the Palestinian people to the establishment of their Independent State with Al-Quds-East as its capital, within the framework of the internationally agreed two-state solution, serving the aspirations of the people of the region and the international community for a secure future for the entire region in peace and stability.
