Côte d’Ivoire’s First Lady Dominique Ouattara Arrives in Morocco
First Lady of Côte d’Ivoire, Dominique Ouattara, arrived late Tuesday afternoon in Salé for a working visit to Morocco as part of the launch of the second stage of Côte d’Ivoire’s campaign “United, We Hear Each Other Better”. On her arrival at Rabat-Salé airport, Ouattara was welcomed by Her Royal Highness Princess Lalla Asmae. After reviewing a guard of honors from the Auxiliary Forces, HRH Princess Lalla Asmae and the First Lady of Côte d’Ivoire were greeted by Wali of Rabat-Salé-Kénitra region, governor of the prefecture of Rabat, Mohamed Yacoubi, President of the Rabat-Salé-Kénitra region, Rachid El Abdi, and Governor of the Salé prefecture, Omar Touimi. HRH Princess Lalla Asmae and Mrs. Dominique Ouattara were also greeted by President of the Prefectural Council of Salé, Noureddine Lazrek, President of the Municipal Council of Salé, Omar Sentissi, Vice-president of Lions International and representative of Lions of Africa, Manoj Shah, Coordinator of the Lalla Asmae Foundation, Karim Essakalli and Morocco’s ambassador in Abidjan, Abdelmalek Kettani. Later, HRH Princess Lalla Asmae was greeted by members of the delegation accompanying the First Lady of Côte d’Ivoire, made up in particular of Yves Tadet, Chargé d’affaires of the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire in Morocco, Patricia Sylvie Yao, Chief of staff, and Nadine Sangare, National director of Children of Africa Foundation. The First Lady of Côte d’Ivoire was subsequently invited to the traditional ceremony of milk and date offering. After a brief break in the Royal Lounge of the airport, the procession of HRH Princess Lalla Asmae and the First Lady of Côte d’Ivoire headed towards the Palace of Royal Guests, place of residence of Mrs. Dominique Ouattara.
