Regarding the Moroccan Sahara issue, Mayara commended the Republic of the Philippines’ stance and steadfast support for Morocco’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. He also reiterated the Kingdom’s support for the Philippines against all forms of separatism and in defense of its territorial integrity. For his part, the Philippine ambassador acknowledged the level of political and diplomatic relations between the two countries, which are entering their fifth decade, emphasizing the need to leverage the fiftieth anniversary of bilateral relations to further promote bilateral cooperation, particularly in priority areas such as migration, combating climate change and promoting renewable energies.
