Morocco’s Aid to Gaza Illustrates HM the King’s ‘Firm’, ‘Continuous’ Commitment in Favor or Palestinians – Spanish Studies Center

The humanitarian aid transported on Tuesday by land to the Palestinian populations of Gaza and Al-Quds, on Very High Instructions from HM King Mohammed VI, once again illustrates the “firm and continuous” commitment of the Sovereign and the entire Moroccan people in support of the interests of the Palestinians, stated the Centro de Estudios Hispano-Marroquí (CEHM, Spanish-Moroccan Studies Center) on Wednesday. “His Majesty the King, Chairman of the Al-Quds Committee, continues to provide support to the Palestinians and tirelessly works for a fair and lasting peace in the region,” emphasized the president of the Center, Miguel Ángel Puyol García, in a statement to MAP. He noted that the aid sent to the populations of Gaza and Al-Quds demonstrates the solidarity of all components of Moroccan society with the Palestinian people in these difficult circumstances. He pointed out that “this unprecedented aid operation, the first by land since the beginning of armed hostilities, is of great importance as it will alleviate the suffering of the populations of Gaza and Al-Quds, especially children and the elderly.” “It also aligns with the constants of the Kingdom of Morocco’s policy, which involves supporting the Palestinian people through concrete initiatives on the ground,” added Puyol García. HM King Mohammed VI had given High Instructions to deploy a humanitarian operation of food aid by land, intended for the Palestinian population of Gaza and Al-Quds. This aid, coinciding with the beginning of the sacred month of Ramadan, aims to alleviate the suffering of the Palestinian populations, especially their most vulnerable categories.
