HM the King Offers Luncheon in Honor of Belgian PM

HM King Mohammed VI offered, Monday in Rabat, a luncheon in honor of Belgian Prime Minister, Alexander De Croo, and the accompanying delegation, chaired by Head of Government, Aziz Akhannouch.    The luncheon was attended by Minister of the Interior, Institutional Reforms and Democratic Renewal, Annelies Verlinden, Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Affairs and Foreign Trade, and Federal Cultural Institutions, Hadja Lahbib, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Justice and North Sea, Paul Van Tigchelt and Secretary of State for Asylum and Migration, Nicole De Moor.    Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rachid Talbi Alami, Speaker of the House of Councilors, Enaam Mayara, HM the King’s Advisors, Taieb Fassi Fihri and Omar Azziman, Interior Minister, Abdelouafi Laftit, Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita and Justice Minister, Abdellatif Ouahbi, also attended the luncheon.    Akhannouch and De Croo co-chaired, on Monday, the 3rd meeting of the Morocco-Belgium High Joint Partnership Commission, which was marked by the adoption of a Joint Declaration, as well as by the signing of two memorandums of understanding and a cooperation roadmap.    In the Joint Declaration, both parties expressed their shared will to further deepen bilateral relations to establish a forward-looking strategic partnership that lives up to the expectations and potential of the two countries to meet current and future challenges.
