Liberian FM Praises His Majesty the King’s Pioneering Role in Africa – Joint Communiqué –
The Liberian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sara Beysolow Nyanti, praised, on Thursday in Rabat, the pioneering role played by His Majesty King Mohammed VI in the political, economic, security and religious fields in Africa. In a joint statement issued at the end of her talks with Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita, Nyanti praised His Majesty the King’s enlightened initiative to facilitate the access of the Sahel States to the Atlantic Ocean, with a view to making the Atlantic African space a geostrategic framework for intra-African cooperation and consultation, pragmatic and timely. In this respect, the Liberian FM praised the opportunity offered by the Royal Initiative to facilitate the access of the Sahel States to the Atlantic Ocean and connecting them to the transport and communication networks of their regional environment. The two ministers also reiterated their determination to participate in the efforts to settle disputes in Africa and commended the constant efforts made by the Kingdom of Morocco, Under the Wise and Enlightened Leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, May God Assist Him, and by the Republic of Liberia Under the Leadership of His Brother, His Excellency the president Joseph Boakai in favor of peace and sustainable development in Africa, the Communiqué stressed. Addressing regional and international issues of common interest, Bourita and Nyanti noted with satisfaction their convergence of views on the various issues raised.
