HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan Chairs Luncheon Offered by HM the King on Occasion of FAR’s 68th Anniversary

On the orders of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Supreme Commander and Chief of the General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces, may God assist Him, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan chaired, on Tuesday at the Cercle Mess Officiers in Rabat, the luncheon offered by His Majesty the King, on the occasion of the 68th anniversary of the creation of the Royal Armed Forces (FAR). Upon his arrival, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan was greeted by Lieutenant General, Inspector General of the Royal Armed Forces and Commander of the South Zone, before reviewing a detachment of the Headquarters Battalion, which was performing the honors, according to a press release from the General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces. His Royal Highness was then greeted by the Head of Government, the Minister Delegate to the Head of Government, in charge of National Defense Administration, the Lieutenant General, Commander of the Royal Gendarmerie, the Air Division General, Inspector of the Royal Air Force, the Rear-Admiral, Inspector of the Royal Navy and the Commander of Arms Delegate of the Rabat-Salé Square. The luncheon was attended by the Head of Government, advisors to His Majesty the King, members of the Royal Cabinet, members of the Government, senior officers of the FAR General Staff, foreign military attachés accredited to Rabat, and other civilian and military personalities. The 68th anniversary of the creation of the Royal Armed Forces was celebrated at various FAR parade squares, garrisons, units and contingents, with ceremonies including the raising of the colors, the reading of the Order of the Day addressed by His Majesty the King to the members of the Royal Armed Forces, the awarding of decorations and troop parades, concludes the press release.
