Official Logo of the 2025 Morocco Africa Cup of Nations Unveiled : A Fusion of Art and Football

The official logo for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), set to take place in Morocco, was unveiled on Saturday, marking a key moment in the countdown to this major African football event, according to the Confederation of African Football (CAF).

The logo, described as a modern and iconic symbol of African football, pays tribute to the continent’s heritage and unity. The tournament, scheduled from December 21, 2025, to January 18, 2026, is expected to mark a turning point in the history of this prestigious competition, the CAF said in a statement published on its website. Inspired by Moroccan “zellij,” a traditional form of mosaic, the logo reimagines football as a space where creativity, precision, and passion meet. Additionally, the CAF compares the design of the logo to “zellij,” where each piece is meticulously crafted and assembled to form works of art. Finally, it was noted that the draw for the final phase of AFCON 2025 will take place next Monday at the Mohammed V National Theatre in Rabat.
