FAR Inspector General Receives U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of War for African Affairs
Rabat – Upon High Instructions of His Majesty the King, Supreme Commander and Chief of the General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Mohammed Berrid, FAR Inspector General and Commander of the South Zone, received Monday at the FAR General Staff headquarters Bryan J. Ellis, Deputy Assistant Secretary of War of the United States of America for African Affairs, who is visiting the Kingdom of Morocco on January 11-13, accompanied by a high-level official delegation.
The FAR Inspector General and the U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of War for African Affairs mainly discussed the topics and areas of military cooperation that will be examined at the next meeting of the Defense Consultative Committee, to be held in 2026 in Washington, D.C., according to a statement from the General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces.
