Al Quds – Bayt Mal Al-Quds Asharif Agency organized a Ramadan evening on Tuesday in the village of Bir Nabala (northeast of Al-Quds) in favor of nearly 300 orphaned children and children with special needs, as part of the Ramadan social assistance campaign, held until the end of the holy month.

Launched in partnership with the “Ambassadors of Happiness” association, this event—featuring performances and Palestinian folk dances led by professionals—is part of the Agency’s efforts to bring joy and comfort to orphaned children in various neighborhoods of the Holy City, which is currently enduring difficult circumstances. On this occasion, the association’s president Liqaa Ala praised the Agency’s contribution to organizing this initiative for the benefit of hundreds of orphans and children with special needs. In this regard, he highlighted the importance of such initiatives in supporting vulnerable groups and reinforcing the spirit of social solidarity, extending his congratulations to Moroccan people, under the leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan ahead of Eid al-Fitr. For her part, Amina Wahadna, the association’s outreach coordinator, noted that the event helped cheer up the participating children, emphasizing the association’s commitment to continuing its cooperation with the Agency and implementing new programs in the future. Alma Jaabis, one of the participating children, expressed joy at taking part in organizing recreational activities for children with special needs, highlighting the participants’ enthusiasm and the festive atmosphere throughout the evening. This initiative is part of the annual social assistance campaign launched in Al-Quds during the holy month of Ramadan 1447 of the Hijri calendar, aimed at alleviating the economic hardships faced by families in Al-Quds.
