Palestinian Minister Hails Morocco’s Efforts in Favor of Palestine’s Admission as UN Full Member

Palestinian Minister of Social Development Ahmad Majdalani hailed on Monday in Rabat Morocco’s efforts in favor of Palestine becoming a full member of the United Nations. “The quest for full membership of the United Nations is a priority issue for Palestine, and we appreciate Morocco’s efforts in this regard,” Majdalani said in a statement to the press following talks with Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates Nasser Bourita. The Palestinian official also praised the role played by the Kingdom, through its diplomatic channels, in “formulating a specific and concrete conception of our vision of a ceasefire and a halt to the aggression against the Palestinian people, as well as the delivery of food and medical supplies to the Gaza Strip”. In addition, Majdalani insisted on the integrity of the Palestinian territories in the Gaza Strip, the West Bank and East Al-Quds, as well as the unity of the Palestinian political regime based on the geographical, political and legal jurisdiction of the State of Palestine and the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), the sole and legitimate representative”.
