WB/IMF Annual Meetings: Akhannouch Holds Talks with IMF Managing Director

Head of Government Aziz Akhannouch held talks, on Monday in Marrakech, with International Monetary Fund (IMF) Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva, on the sidelines of the Annual Meetings of the World Bank Group (WB) and the IMF. These discussions took place in the presence of Economy and Finance Minister Nadia Fettah, Bank Al-Maghrib Governor Abdellatif Jouahri, and the Minister Delegate in charge of the Budget, Fouzi Lekjaa. The proceedings of the WB/IMF Annual Meetings began on Monday in Marrakech, with the participation of the global economic and financial elite to discuss major issues related to financing policies, economic growth, and climate change. This global event, returning to African soil after 50 years, offers economic and financial decision-makers the opportunity to closely examine the progress and achievements made by Morocco under the enlightened leadership of HM King Mohammed VI in various areas.
