Lower House Speaker Meets in Rabat Delegation from Nigerian National Assembly’s Services Committee

The House of Representatives Speaker, Rachid Talbi Alami, held, on Wednesday in Rabat, talks with a delegation of the Services Committee of Nigeria’s National Assembly, led by its executive chairman Ahmed Kadi Amshi. During these talks, the two parties commended the level of distinguished relations between Morocco and Nigeria, expressing their wish to boost further the links between the two legislative institutions and consolidate consultation and exchange of views in order to serve the two countries’ common interests, the Upper House said in a statement. This meeting was also an opportunity to review the specificities of the two countries’ parliamentary experiences and to underline the importance of sharing expertise in all fields related to parliamentary action, as well as reinforcing coordination at the bilateral and multilateral levels. The meeting, which was attended by Abdelilah Chiguer, chairman pf the Morocco-Nigeria parliamentary group at the House of Representatives, is part of a working and friendship visit to Morocco by this delegation.
