Lower House Speaker Represents HM the King at Madagascar President’s Inauguration
The House of Representatives Speaker, Rachid Talbi El Alami, represented His Majesty King Mohammed VI, at the official inauguration ceremony of the re-elected Madagascan President, Andry Rajoelina, which took place on Saturday in the capital Antananarivo. Rajoelina’s official inauguration ceremony took place at the Barea Stadium in the Malagasy capital, in the presence of several heads of state, government and parliament. HM King Mohammed VI had sent the Madagascan President a congratulatory message in which the Sovereign expresses to Rajoelina His “firm determination to maintain this common approach with a view to expanding areas of bilateral cooperation, in the service of our two peoples and our African continent.” Madagascan President Andry Rajoelina was re-elected in the first round of the presidential elections held on November 16, winning 59% of the vote.
