In a joint statement issued following their talks, both ministers expressed their “commitment to deepening bilateral cooperation,” notably through the exchange of expertise and experiences in fields of mutual interest. During the visit, the two parties signed a Cooperation Roadmap for the 2025-2027 period, which provides an operational and concrete framework for cooperation priorities and activities. These include academic and vocational training, technical cooperation, agriculture and food security, and climate change. Bourita and Romanus Baptiste also highlighted the investment opportunities offered by the two countries and reiterated their determination to build a dynamic economic partnership based on trade and investment. The visit of Saint Lucia’s Minister for External Affairs, International Trade, Civil Aviation and Diaspora Affairs, Alva Romanus Baptiste, to Morocco is part of the momentum to strengthen bilateral ties between the two countries, owing to the Vision of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him, for a united and active South-South cooperation.
