Saint Lucia Hails His Majesty the King’s Initiatives on Sahel, Atlantic for a Prosperous, Stable Africa, and Expresses Great Appreciation for Royal Vision on South-South Cooperation

Saint Lucia welcomed, on Friday in Rabat, the Royal Initiatives on the Sahel and the Atlantic, which “promote shared peace, stability and prosperity” and “offer unprecedented opportunities to promote regional integration and cooperation.” In a joint statement issued following talks between the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita, and his counterpart from Saint Lucia, Alva Romanus Baptiste, the latter emphasized the Kingdom’s commitment, under the impetus of His Majesty King Mohammed VI’s Enlightened Vision, to fostering beneficial cooperation with the Caribbean region. In the same joint statement, Saint Lucia expressed its “great appreciation for the vision of His Majesty King Mohammed VI for South-South cooperation,” stressing that this Royal vision strengthens “stability and security in the Caribbean region.”
