Government Relies on Administration Executives for Implementation of Royal Initiative of Social Protection – RNI Chief
The government is relying on administrators and administrative executives for the implementation of the Royal initiative to generalize social protection, stated Aziz Akhannouch, president of the National Rally of Independents (RNI), on Sunday in Casablanca. Speaking at the 1st National Meeting of the RNI National Organization of Civil Servants and Administrative Executives, Akhannouch emphasized that the government is working to strengthen the pillars of the social state, in line with the enlightened vision of HM King Mohammed VI. He added, in this respect, that the government counts on the contribution of administrators and administrative executives to the successful implementation of various projects and reforms underway in the Kingdom. In this context, he expressed satisfaction with the achievements of the government despite the difficult circumstances it has faced, noting that “the government has honored its commitments outlined in the government program, which reflects the aspirations and plans of the coalition parties.” According to Akhannouch, “the government is moving in the right direction, working with the necessary seriousness to ensure that the measures taken have the expected positive impact on citizens.” He particularly highlighted the implementation of commitments made within the framework of social dialogue, notably salary increases amounting to nearly 45 billion dirhams by 2026, the exemption of retirement pensions from income tax, and the continuation of commitments related to the reform of income tax through a revision of the progressive tax scale. Furthermore, the RNI president also underlined the development of the structures of the National Organization of Civil Servants and Administrative Executives, strengthened by the inclusion of numerous skilled individuals. He noted that in light of these developments, “the party is experiencing positive momentum at all levels, clarifying that this constant dynamic is neither seasonal nor driven by electoral motives.” The RNI leader added that the party’s structures are its beating heart and serve as levers to advocate its causes and defend its ideas, noting that “ambitions are high to support ‘Morocco 2030’ and the numerous projects and investments launched in the Kingdom.” For his part, Abdessadeq Mourchid, president of the RNI National Organization of Civil Servants and Administrative Executives, affirmed that through this meeting, civil servants express their commitment to and support for government policies. Mourchid, re-elected on this occasion as the head of the organization, explained that the event concluded with the organization of three workshops addressing key themes pursued by the government, namely the social state, the role of administration in implementing government projects, and the status of administrators. He recalled that the organization, which operates under a participatory approach championed by the party president, has held a series of meetings across all regions of the Kingdom. These gatherings provided opportunities to discuss numerous issues, collect citizens’ proposals and demands, and explain the government’s vision and programs. Meanwhile, Lahcen Saadi, a member of the party’s political bureau, highlighted “the success of the government in implementing the Royal initiatives and the government program, in which civil servants, executives, and administrators play a significant role.” He noted that the Moroccan administration is deeply committed to this path. He further emphasized that the government, recognizing the importance and role of executives and civil servants, has responded to many of their demands, including salary increases benefiting numerous public and private sector employees, as well as tax reforms.
