The Spanish minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation, José Manuel Albares, on Wednesday said his country is working to build a “strategic relationship with Morocco.” “What we want is a strategic relationship with Morocco, even stronger than before,” said Albares in several statements to the media, on the sidelines of his participation in the Ministerial Meeting of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). “All the signals we receive from Morocco are good and show that we are building an even stronger relationship,” said the head of Spanish diplomacy. “Morocco is a great country and a great friend of Spain.”
