Morocco is a strategic partner and a key interlocutor for Italy in the region, Italian Foreign Minister Luigi Di Maio said. “Morocco is a strategic partner for Italy and a key interlocutor on regional issues, starting with Libya,” the Italian minister wrote in a tweet on the telephone conversation he had on Friday with Nasser Bourita, Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Abroad. The head of Italian diplomacy assured that his country is committed to strengthening cooperation with the Kingdom. “We are committed to strengthening cooperation in all areas.”
