El Salvador Vice-President Hails Morocco’s Technical Cooperation in Territorial Development Project
El Salvador Vice-President Felix Ulloa Jr. has welcomed the technical cooperation between his country and Morocco, which allowed the implementation of a territorial development project in a region in the far north of the country. The project of “integral management of territorial development” in the region of Trifinio (about 100 km north of San Salvador) was carried out thanks to the technical cooperation of Morocco. The inauguration took place in the presence of the chargé d’affaires of the Moroccan embassy in San Salvador, Brahim Baddi. According to a statement from the Salvadoran presidency, the project of comprehensive management of territorial development of the Trifinio region of El Salvador aims to revitalize economic and social this region bordering Honduras, through the development of a center of innovation and technology transfer -INNOVATEC-, which takes advantage of the fourth industrial revolution and the era of digitalization. “We would like to thank our friends and partners of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco for the development cooperation in our region of Trifinio,” said the Vice President of El Salvador, who recognized the effort and cooperation in this area. In its first phase, the project involves the construction of 100 premises for apprentices, the establishment of 10 community gardens, the construction of a poultry farm with an egg incubator, among others.
