FAR Inspector General Meets with Special Representative of UN SG and Head of MINURSO

Pursuant to the High Royal Instructions, the Lieutenant General, Inspector General of FAR and Commander of the South Zone, received, on Thursday at the headquarters of the South Zone Staff in Agadir, the Special Representative of the Secretary General of the United Nations and Head of MINURSO, Alexander Ivanko, accompanied by Major General Md Fakhrul Ahsan, MINURSO Force Commander, and a large delegation. On this occasion, the two officials discussed the various aspects of cooperation between the Royal Armed Forces and MINURSO Forces, while expressing their desire to strengthen it in the service of peace and stability in the region, according to a statement by the General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces (FAR).
