Dakhla Hosts Prince Moulay El Hassan Kite World Cup 2021

The eleventh edition of the World Kitesurfing Championship “Prince Moulay El Hassan Kite World Cup 2021” kicked off Wednesday in Foum Labouir (Dakhla), with the participation of worldwide riders.

Held under the High Patronage of HM King Mohammed VI, this international event is organized by the Association “Dakhla Lagoon for the development of sport and cultural animation” and the Global Kitesports Association (GKA), under the auspices of the World Sailing Federation (WSF).

In addition to five Moroccan participants, riders from several countries, including Brazil, Australia, Canada, France, Italy, Bulgaria, Germany, Spain, Sweden and Cape Verde, will take part in the event.

The championship is a key step to win the title of “the rider of the year” for the strapless wave category.
