Morocco’s Ambassador to UK Presents Copies of Credentials to British Authorities

Morocco’s ambassador to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland presented, on Monday, copies of his credentials to the Deputy Director of Protocol at the British Foreign Office, Alison MacMillan, during a meeting held through video-conferencing, in compliance with COVID-19-related rules. This session was an opportunity to recall the depth of the longstanding relations that unite Morocco to the United Kingdom and to reiterate the willingness of both countries to strengthen their strategic partnership. This meeting is the first protocol step before the presentation of credentials to HM Queen Elizabeth II. It marks the official entry into office of the ambassador of His Majesty the King to the Court of St. James. Hakim Hajoui was appointed on December 14, 2021, by HM King Mohammed VI as the new ambassador of Morocco to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
