Kuwait City, 01/08/2022 (MAP) – His Majesty King Mohammed VI addressed Moroccans with transparency and sincerity, presenting all that has been achieved during the past year, as well as the actions that will be undertaken in the coming year, said Monday the Kuwaiti journalist Ahmed Aljarallah. “In this annual speech, everyone feels the heavy burden carried by HM the King who has captivated the hearts of his people with his firm stance, far from the wishes that do not come true, because He is well aware that power is a great responsibility,” Aljarallah said in an article published in Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Seyassah. He added that “in two decades, the Kingdom has achieved enormous progress on the path of development,” noting that “HM King Mohammed VI has launched this year a call to Moroccans to work with a spirit of initiative and resilience to consolidate the social stability that has distinguished the Kingdom in recent years.” His Majesty the King speaks frankly to his people, whether it is in case of difficulties, pointing out the obstacles that led to this situation and implementing solutions to overcome them, or in case of significant achievements, where He defines the steps to follow to continue the building process, he continued. Aljarallah also noted that thanks to the concerted efforts of the public and private sectors, the Moroccan economy has been able to withstand the crises and fluctuations, achieving positive results in various sectors of production, “because there is a leadership that works with honesty to guide the country on the path of progress.” With the same transparency, points out the Kuwaiti journalist, “the Sovereign expressed his willingness to maintain the best relations with the brotherly neighbors in North Africa, as well as with the whole continent and the Arab world, aware that integration is the basis for progress, strength and resilience. In this spirit, HM the King reiterated his sincere appeal to Algerian leaders to work together to establish normal relations between two brotherly peoples, united by historical and human ties, as well as a common destiny, he argued. Aljarallah recalled in this regard that the return to normal relations between Morocco and Algeria would bring great benefits to both countries and peoples and strengthen their resilience in the face of recent international developments, which is a constant position of the Kingdom.
