World Cup 2022: Heads of State Congratulate HM the King on Morocco’s Historic Qualification for Semi-Finals
Heads of State have congratulated HM King Mohammed VI in telephone calls following the historic qualification, on Saturday, of the Moroccan football team for the semi-finals of the FIFA World Cup, Qatar-2022. HM the King received phone calls from the President of the Republic of Gabon, Ali Bongo Ondimba, the President of the French Republic, Emmanuel Macron, the Emir of the State of Qatar, His Highness Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani, HM King Abdullah II of Jordan, the President of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, and the President of the United Arab Emirates, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan. In these calls, these Heads of State expressed their warmest congratulations to HM the King following this historic achievement which makes Morocco the first African and Arab country to reach the semi-finals of a football World Cup.
