CSPJ Vice-President Meets with Kenya’s Attorney General

The exchange of experiences and the strengthening of cooperation between Morocco and Kenya in the judicial field was the focus of a meeting, Thursday in Rabat, between the first president of the Court of Cassation, vice-president of the High Council of the Judiciary (CSPJ), Mohamed Abdennabaoui, and the Attorney General of Kenya, Noordin Mohamed Haji. During this meeting, the two parties exchanged views on the prospects of legal and judicial cooperation between the two institutions. In a statement to the press after the interview, Mohamed Haji said that as African countries, Morocco and Kenya face similar challenges and the only way, according to him, to overcome them is to exchange visits to support each other. Kenya, he said, strongly supports Morocco, which it considers “a very important partner” in ensuring that Africa is a continent that can develop for the benefit of its people. This interview took place in the presence of members and senior executives of the CSPJ and the Kenyan delegation accompanying Mohamed Haji, currently visiting the Kingdom.
